By using the Site, you consent to this Policy.

1. Scope & Roles

This Policy applies to personal information we process as a “business” under U.S. privacy laws and as a “controller” under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/UK GDPR). If any terms differ by region, the section “Your Privacy Rights by Jurisdiction” governs.

2. Categories & Sources of Personal Information

We collect the following categories of information (examples are illustrative):

  • Identifiers (name, email, postal address, IP address, device identifiers).
  • Commercial information (purchase history, product interests).
  • Internet or network activity (browsing data, cookie IDs, analytics and referral data).
  • Geolocation data (approximate, derived from IP).
  • Payment information (handled by third‑party processors; we do not store full card numbers).
  • User content (messages, reviews, survey responses).
  • Inferences drawn from the information above (e.g., preferences).

Sources include: directly from you (checkout, email), automatically via cookies and similar technologies, and from service providers or partners that support our Site (e.g., payments, analytics, fulfillment).

3. Purposes of Use (and GDPR Lawful Bases)

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Provide the Site and services; fulfill and deliver orders; process payments (Contract).
  • Customer service and communications, including responding to inquiries (Contract/Legitimate Interests).

  • Marketing and promotions via email with opt‑out options (Consent/Legitimate Interests where allowed).
  • Security, fraud prevention, and debugging (Legitimate Interests/Legal Obligation).
  • Compliance with law, tax, accounting, and to defend legal claims (Legal Obligation/Legitimate Interests).

4. Notice at Collection (California)

We collect the categories listed in Section 2 for the business and commercial purposes listed in Section 3. Retention is for as long as needed for the purposes described (see Section 10).

“Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Information: We do not exchange your personal information for money. Like many online brands, we may “share” identifiers and internet activity with advertising and analytics partners for cross‑context behavioral advertising. You may opt out (see “Your Privacy Choices” below).

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure performance, and support marketing. You can adjust browser settings to refuse cookies and, if implemented, use our cookie preferences tool to manage non‑essential cookies. We endeavor to honor recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where feasible.

6. Disclosures to Service Providers & Third Parties

We disclose personal information to service providers under contracts that limit their use to services performed for us (e.g., payment processing, fulfillment, email delivery, analytics, hosting, customer support, security). We may also disclose information in connection with corporate transactions, to comply with law, or to protect our rights or users.

7. International Data Transfers

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross‑border transfers (e.g., EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses).

8. Children’s Privacy (16+)

Our Site and products are intended for individuals 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with legal, tax, or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Criteria include data category, purpose, legal obligations, and risk.

11. Your Privacy Rights by Jurisdiction

You may exercise applicable rights by emailing care@fayessentials.com. We will verify your request as required by law.

  • California (CCPA/CPRA): Right to know/access, correct, delete, data portability; limit use of sensitive personal information; opt out of “sale”/“sharing” for cross‑context behavioral advertising; and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a “Limit” link. If applicable, use “Your Privacy Choices” to opt out of sale/sharing or send a GPC signal. Agents must provide proof of authority.
  • EU/UK GDPR: Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to processing (including direct marketing). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We do not intentionally collect or use sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, health/biometric templates) for inferring characteristics or for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

13. Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We endeavor to honor recognized Global Privacy Control signals as part of our opt‑out choices where feasible.
